Joe has worked in a wide range of performing and composing settings. In 2008 his jazz quartet album “Long trip home” was at the top of the Jazz UK chart for 9 weeks. Since then he has played guitar on the “Legends live” arena tour, playing with “The Drifters” and “Mary Wilson” (Supremes) performing alongside Roberta Flack and Dionne Warwick at Wembley arena. He has played on the Drifters 2015 album “Stand By Me” released on Warner music.

Joe has worked in a wide range of settings at the RSC, on Hamlet, Cymbeline, The Tempest and most recently with Laura Mvula, playing her music on Anthony and Cleopatra. Radio performances include Live radio 3 broadcast with Jamiroquai’s Sola Ackingbola, Radio 2 Janice Long show with Thom Cross (Heavy Sea), and a live broadcast on Jazz FM with “The Paris 1940s”.

Joe continues to do session work for film and TV and writes music extensively with Hugely Problematic’.
